The subject of the work addresses the theme of humility and the triumph of the will that conquers the pride within itself. The sculptor depicts a man who has removed his inner "crown", free of arrogance. The hero of the composition is confident in his abilities and knows the price of himself, however, having got rid of pride, he appears as a true man, one with his essence.
