The sculpture "Penitential Chair" continues the series of works about the alternative Middle Ages. Alexander Dedov depicts the supposed instrument of torture of the Inquisition, the purpose of which the viewer has to think up for himself. The key to understanding the sculpture lies in awakening the dark sides of the sophisticated human imagination.
