In his work, the artist gives a special place to animalistic sculptures as a symbol of the supremacy of nature. Cow and Calf in particular is a collective image of the continuity and cyclicality of life. Laconic volumes, stripped of superfluous details, turn into a three-dimensional pictograph and create a new symbol in the plastic language of Alexey Kanis.
