In Greek mythology, Phobos (Greek φόβος "fear") and Deimos (Greek δείμος "terror") are the sons of Ares, god of war. According to the myths, the twin brothers accompanied Ares in battle. The red inlays, strictly crossed on both elements of the composition, reproduce symbols of cold-blooded ruthlessness and power over the unfortunate, whose souls have submitted to fear and terror.
