The fairy-tale wonder fish in Denis Kulikov's interpretation becomes a fish in the natural sense. The opposite transformation takes place, the object is stripped of its fairy tale properties and returns to its original source. The study of fairy tale motifs in association with fish here deviates into anti-research, replicating a realistic representation in the sculpture.
