In 1886, the English priest and scientist Robert John Guppy made a presentation to the members of the Royal Assembly about fish that do not spawn but give birth to live babies, whereupon he was ridiculed. Guppy, however, took a big step forward in the progress of biological science. Denis Kulikov's Electro Guppy is a tribute to the scientist and a fantasy continuation of progress for the little fish.
