ADVENT.НАЧАЛО is a social exhibition project unique in Russia, designed to show the works of contemporary artists and to discover new names in the field of art for everyone who is interested. It is a kind of a teaser exhibition of future projects planned by artists and art-curators for the next year.
The leitmotif of the teaser exhibition is the theme of Advent. It is a stage of spiritual rethinking, summing up and realizing the experience of the past year in order to carry it into the new 2022 and tell the world about their achievements.
The navigation in the New Tretyakov Gallery space will be organized in a circle, illustrating the philosophy of eternal return. Each guest will return to the starting point of the exhibition with new knowledge, emotions and experiences.
